Become a Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Lil’ Buckaroo’s volunteer! Volunteers are a big part of what we do. Our volunteer program is highly structured and is geared toward finding volunteers who are a great fit in helping us meet the needs of the animals in our care.

Days & Times Available for Volunteering

Volunteers assist at the farm during shifts that range from 4-8 hours between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. any day Monday-Sunday, excluding holidays. Please contact us below to learn about our current availability.

Volunteer Program

Our volunteer program allows volunteers to gain hands-on experience in animal care and husbandry. Volunteers have the opportunity to work with our 11 different species of animal at the farm!

Volunteer Requirements

• Volunteers must attend an orientation to learn more about our volunteer positions.

• Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to volunteer at Lil’ Buckaroo’s Farm.

• Volunteers ages 16 - 17 must have their parent/guardian attend training and sign paperwork but may be eligible to participate in certain programs independently.

• All volunteers must pass a background check.
